Senior Care

Does your elderly senior need a sitter, companion, nurse aide, or skilled nurse? Family Private Care is a full-service caregiver registry designed specifically to assist families who are dealing with the home care needs of elderly parents.

Since 1997 Family Private Care has offered screened, exceptional caregivers who range from Companion/Sitters, to Certified Nursing Aides, to Skilled Nurses (LPNs and RNs). Depending on what you or your senior loved one needs, these quality caregivers can assist with errands, meal preparation, light housekeeping, bathing, dressing, transfers, medication reminders, medication management, wound care, IVs, trach care, and vents.

All services are available from one-hour visits to 24-hour care as well as live-in care which offers a cost-effective approach to providing consistent, around the clock care.

While every situation is different, we understand what it is like to have the responsibility of caring for a loved one.  We’ve cared for our own aging loved ones, including moms, dads, grandparents, aunts and uncles. At times it’s a lot of care for a long time.  And sometimes we get worn out, and we just need a break.  Sometimes we need to get back to living our own lives, to work, to parent our own children, to have a life of our own.

We want someone we can trust to come into our loved one’s home.  We need someone who has the skills to provide the level of care that’s needed.  But we also want that caregiver to sincerely care for our loved one, and to connect with our family as an extended family member.

You can trust Family Private Care to provide all of that, and more. Every caregiver undergoes thorough screening, background checks, credential verification, and personal interviews before ever setting foot in your home. Over the past 16 years, we’ve become a valued part of thousands of families … families like yours … one family at a time.

Whether you need a one-hour visit every now and then, 24-hour care for months or even years, or anything in between, we’re here for you … and we’re ready to become an extended member of your family.

We will also partner with you to become an advocate for you and your family to help you sort through the many challenges that come with being an adult child caring for an aging parent or other relative.  We’ve been there, and we’re here for you.
